Do speaker cables need a burn in period?

I have heard some say that speaker cables do need a 'burn in', and some say that its totally BS.
What say you?

yes, jl35 that is true.  When you change the direction of the cables all the old signals still use to going in the old direction collide with the new signals going in the new direction.  Well, you get it, its a bloody mess.

Note that I hear what we refer to as cable burn in.  However, I am in the camp that it is our ears adjusting to the new and different sound, not the sound itself changing.
