Try www.aksa.com for solid state kits or do a web search for nelson pass amp designs. I have never done myself but hear about them often in a positive light. Good luck.

Bottlehead has very nice kits available, with excellent sound. In my system, the Bottlehead amp sounded much better and was even quieter than a $1000 tube amp.
