Do Cables Need to Be Same Size for MF Tube Buffer?

If anyone has a Musical Fidelity Tube Buffer (mine is X-10 V3), if the size of the input cables differ from the output cables, will there be a noticeable difference in the sound? IE, my input cables are currently 3' & my output ones are 6' because of space limitations.
