DK VS 1 MKII vs. Classe CAP-151

What are your thoughts on these two amps for powering AAD 2001s (86dB)?

I'm looking forward to hearing what the extra wattage can get out of the AADs. I am also looking forward to having full remote operation after 2 years of only volume control on the Bryston. JML

Not that it is bad, just wasn't my taste. I've heard very good things about Classe amps. I owned a Classe CDP that sounded really good. Regards, Mark
rsjm80 Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 207 posts 07-02-2009 at 11:42am Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete Can't speak for the DK but I've been using the CAP 151 to drive my Apogee Slant 6s (83db) and the amp is great Runs cools, very musical and never have experienced any sign of strain. I can say (in my rig) it may sound a bit cool and maybe polite at times but... that is my perception and I listen to soft rock, blues,jazz and new age but, you can listen to it for hours w/o listening fatiuge either. I also upgraded the PC and it made a very positive difference as well.
