I had the VS1 mkII. Be aware that if you use a subwoofer the mkII does not have pre outs to connect a sub. I've had quite a few integrateds and imo it's a pretty good deal at it's used price.
DK Design VS 1 MKII or Unison Unico integrated?
Looking to upgrade from an Anthem Integrated 2 hybrid integrated amp and wondering which would be a better purchase. My current speakers are Paradigm Studio 40 v2's. The VS 1 MKII would enable me to re-use my Amperex Bugle Boy 6922 tubes whereas the Unico uses 12AU7/ECC82 tubes.
I listen to rock, acoustic, jazz, electronic downtempo, house and drum and bass.
