DIY noisy Rotel amp repair-success

My trusty Rotel RB-1090 86lb is very quiet sonically but had been making more clicks and pops than a bad LP-coming from the amp itself but not through the speakers. It was bad enough to distract me from the music. So I took the cover off to see if maybe I could tighten some mounting hardware to combat expansion/contraction noises between the chassis and internal components. Turns out all the mounting screws are on the underside of the case and almost all of them could take 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn and guess what? Totally quiet now. Not a single click or pop during warmup or cool down after listening. Major enjoyment boost without spending a single dollar. Nice!
