i have a brand new CLASSE CAP 151 integ. amp. The amp works like a dream but on shutdown i get a "whistle" in first one speaker, then the other. Sound occurs after amp is powered off. ANY THOUGHTS?
It's definitely the amp (minor problem). I had the samething happen to me some years back with a Classe' DR-9 with the whistling right after shiut down. They replaced the relay circuit and good as new.
thanks topkat! will unfortunately bring it back to shop. bummer when you spend this kind of $$$. nterestingly with my "new" speakers i haven't heard it anymore. Maybe I am a "negative" magnetic field as my CAL 10 has gone back to shop-2x in 2 years. i
