Digital input of Unison Research Unico CD player

Hi. I'm new to this forum.

I would like to know if anyone has experience with the quality of the external digital input capacity of this CD player. I'm trying to buy one so that I can input the digital signal from my Squeezebox 3. Do the unit reclock the signal as well?
