Can someone help me. Is there a differance between digital coax and digital. I'm looking for a couple of cable's. I have a digital coax out on my cd player. What should i use?
Also on my dvd i am using optic. What is the best way for picture and sound.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Good job AVGUY I would just like to fine tune it a little more. If your TV and DVD player have *COMPONENT VIDEO* Capability. (Inputs on the TV) (Outputs on the DVD player). Use them for the highest quality video connection. This will require a Tri-Video-Cable RCA/RCA. Easily purchased at your local Stereo store. A monster brand gold tip will run about $90.00

Try to use a digital coax cable for your audio connection as opposed to a tos-link. Around $40.00 monster brand(GOLD TIP) This will give you the best quality and more bass.

To answer your questions there is no difference between digital coax and digital.

No matter what you decide I would try to take the video signal direct to the TV from the DVD player. Then run the audio signal via a digital cable direct to your reciever.

Your CD connection sounds good
