digital and interconnect cables burn in

I was wandering the best methods for burn in. Is it ok to have your system on except the amp to do this? I'm new at this and would like you all's opinion. Thanks!

Even 24 years later: some folks are still out there, interested in burning in their cables.

Of course: some, less patient than others.

The Ayre CD has Pink, White and Brown Noise tracks, that when set to play repeatedly, should provide a (somewhat) faster burn than random music, containing more full frequency spectrums.

The full frequency sweeps on the disc, can't hurt either.

I agree: critical listening, when changes are made to one's system, is educational and, "good training".

Still: many just want to get on with their better sound, quickly as possible.

I suppose: why there's a market for cable burn devices*

*ie: Hagerman FryBaby, Audiodharma and services, like:

                                                 Happy listening!

you can do all types of burning-in rituals or you can simply connect it where it supposed to be and listen music.
