Digital & Analogue Shorties?

Has anyone tried the digital & analogue shortie RCA connectors that plug into your unused connectors in your components? I am also concerned if they can be used in a subwoofers amp? They are a really cheap tweek. Highend Electronics sells them at a pretty good price. Please key in your comments and conclusions of these Shorties... Thx.
