Did you have scratched discs in your PNW boxed set?  There are many that have defective discs.
Hey Now- garebear

Looking forward in reading about your thoughts, impressions, on this set.

Happy Listening!

Hey Now! petware

good to see you here as well. "Looks like Rain" is a stone(d) GD live classic.  Happy Listening!

Fellow Heads,

I am looking for a copy of the 4-CD set Europe 72 5/3/72, Paris France,

show.  Thank You.

Great play-on-words w/ The Grateful Dead and Copps Coliseum.

Happy Listening!

the new PNW 73-74 set will ship on Sept 7th per Dead.Net site.

These (2) years are not well represented, so, a boxed set of these recordings are welcomed.  I am a fan of the "Wall of Sound" that circumvented in 1974. Really  a short supply of these shows/releases as well. Looking for to it.

Happy Listening!

Excellent! boxer12

good to read that you found "So Many Roads". Agreed, it is a fine collection. Feel free to discuss any Grateful Dead releases here.

Happy Listening!

I am looking for Dave's Picks Vol. 11 and Dick's Picks Vol. 9, 12, 13,if any of you guys have an extra/spare copy. Post here or PM me if you wish.
Happy Listening!
I sure do- jriggy

if you come across a CM copy, post your comparisons here.

Happy Listening!
I am a fan of the Plangent Process as well. I do not know how long the heads (no pun) at GD have been utilizing it?

Happy Listening!
I have read about several Dick's Picks that surround the mighty Cornell '77 date. Pre- and post dates that compliment the Cornell show.

Happy Listening!
Any of you guys want to comment on the Dick's Picks around the Cornell '77 date?
IME, DP #21 does not disappoint.  An over-all very good recording .
Excellent presentation and the band was really "on" this date in question.
It is going to be interesting to see which venues drop this year for Dave's Picks?

We all are long over-due to a proper Cornell '77 set.
My copy arrived this afternoon. I will give it proper attention this weekend and report back.
Good to see you again- oleschool

hopefully this is the year for a proper Cornell '77 release/box set.

Happy Listening!
Thanks! for sharing- guys.
As we start 2016, Dave's Picks are into Volume 17- another release featuring the "wall of sound". I am intrigued w/ the Wall of Sound, as it was a short-lived, endeavor.
Both Reckoning + Dead Set are tough to beat (no pun).
The thing about the GD, is that, we all have our fave year/line-up.

There are plenty of recordings to go around. I am intrigued by the wall of sound (WOS), so these short-lived shows are of interest to me.

Those early Fillmore shows are excellent w/ pigpen as well.
There are (2) big boxed sets- The Golden Road + Beyond Description
where all original studio releases were remastered and bonus trax added.
Those bonus trax offer a wealth of live versions.
Never too late-  jriggy

Welcome! it appears as if you quite a collection. I own all of the original studio releases as well as a few Dave's Picks. I did buy the 4-CD best of version of the 30-trips super box set.  Happy Listening!
