I'm a little late to this post, but I just recently purchased the 1600ne model. Honestly, blown away doesn't even cover it.
I've owned many integrateds in the $1k-$5k price range, and the Denon is by far my favorite. The DAC is fantastic, and the phono stage is also very nice (especially in "analog mode").
Quiet, powerful, warm, and no lack of detail.
Most people will recommend the Parasound Halo for an all-in-one, and it's a nice amp (I've owned two of them), but the Denon is better in every imaginable way, except if you need bass management.
Just my opinion of course..
