I have a Denon x3700 which I use for movies and music (Spotify and a record player).
For movies it sounds great with LCR (KEF Q550 / Q250C) crossed over at 80hz to my SVS 3000 Micro. I have this saved to my Preset 1.
However, for music it seems to sound better when in ‘Pure Direct’ mode. This appears to give the LR a full range signal and send nothing to the sub.
I’d instead like to use the ‘Stereo’ setting so that the sub is utilized but with a lower crossover to get more out of the speakers (i.e. create a new Audyssey setting saved to Preset 2), but trying to understand if I can automatically apply that new preset to the ‘Stereo’ setting? Or would I still have to manually switch between Preset 1 and 2 every time I switched between movie and music?
