The Triton X is perhaps the best surfactant going. The BAK (benzalkonium chloride) is a safe solvent that is used as an antiseptic. It will also knock off any fungus on the record. All you need to do is add a tsp of each to your Degritter's distilled water and you are good to go. Neither will leave any residue
