Deciding to buy McIntosh CD Player

Hi guys, 
I have just bought a C2600 McIntosh Pre-Amp connected to a MC275. I have a Vincent S4 CD player and I was thinking if I switch to a McIntosh CD player such as 550, will I experience a huge amount of difference? Need your valuable thoughts and advise.

No, BUT you'll still like it better, you got it...THE MAC BUG.. It doesn't go away either.. There is NO cure... For the most part NO RISK. The economy can go FLAT Mac will always have resale value above others. No exception.. There was a time when my Mac gear was worth more than my house... No kidding.. Sells quicker than diamonds...
