Death Knell for cd's?
An article in Yahoo! today predicts the demise of cd's and dvd's in 5 yrs or so because of the future of streaming audio and video. Will streaming audio be inferior cd's? If cd's are killed off in favor and streaming audio is inferior, where will audiophiles get high quality recordings from? Is streaming video capable of encoding a dvd with DTS or DD 5.1? Your thoughts please.
