Hello all. Would anybody know the difference between the 1987 release of Dave Brubeck's Time Out on CD CK 40585 versus the 1997 release CK 65122? Thanks.
the 1987 version will be closer to the original LP pressing. The 1997 version will be a remaster of this landmark recording. I enjoy the 1987 version, Sony MasterSound Gold 90's version and first SACD late-90's version. It is all a matter of taste.
