Any reviews or comments on the Ikon 5/6/7 series? I've seen some decent prices for demo's and was curious if anyone has any comments on these speakers.
I like them. I'm an electrostatic/planar guy and this is one of the few box speakers I like. I also like Von Schweikerts, fwiw. I still bought planars, but give a hearty thumbs up to the Ikons. Great etched imaging among other things.
I listened to the 6s before deciding on my Dali Royal Towers. They were both nice, but the IKON tweeter was brighter and harsher. Not saying I didnt like them though, I just had a choice to make and thats what it came down to.
