DAC to go with Conrad Johnson and Vandersteen?

Thoughts on DAC to go with my CJ 250 S, CT 5 and Vandy Quatros? I am thinking this may be route to go versus searching for that magic CD player--current player is McCormack DP 2 --very nice, but looking to take some of the "edge" off ever so nicely--a bit more blend---system is very accurate--but oftentimes too much so--I have Zero experience with DACS-
