DAC / Streaming Recommendations help needed

Greetings Everyone!

I have over 1 Terabyte of good quality music files on an external hard drive. It was actually the digital Library of a Radio Station that was given to me as a gift. I’d like to move it to a Digital player that will keep the files organized and allow me to utilize the entire Library. Streaming capability would be nice as well. Can someone recommend some decent units with a max spend of $3,000?

Current System:

Parasound Halo A21

Parasound Halo P5

Pro-Ject Debut Carbon

Integra 6 Disc CD Player

Goldenear Triton 5’s

2 JL Audio Dominion D108 Subs

Thanks!

Do you know the resolution of the files?    That’s a lot of music to manage.   Is there a program associated with the music and what files are they?
John,   Sounds like a great collection of music!   There are music file managers such as jRiver, etc that would be most helpful with managing the music.   I don’t use one.
I am still ripping my library with DBPower amp and it is only 267gigs at present.     My FLAC files are loaded on a external drive  (Simple Drive) and And my Auraliti music server via USB streams the music to my Dac.   It uses an iPad as a controller.    I then switched to a Pro-Ject stream box s2 which improved the sound greatly and added web radio.   Interface is operated on my iPad and is ok for my current file sizes.
The Auraliti is out of production but can be found used around $500.  The stream box S2 is $850.  I bought mine from Audio Advisor for the 30 day trial.
you will need a USB dac and there are many available.  The Black Ice FX Dac (Jolida) is highly rated and sells for $699 with WiFi.
Best. Jeff
