The GDA was a Stereophile Class C DAC in its day, and it is still a very good DAC-- and a good value. I used the Adcom 600 for a couple of years with a Sony CA9ES (5 CD carosel), Toslink out and it made a for a significant improvement in music quality/character. Also get a good Toslink cable-- I used Kimber at $50. Good Hunting. Craig.
