D'Agostino Progression pre-amp vs Audio Research Ref6SE

I want to replace my, still very good ARC Ref 5SE with the D'Agostino Progression pre-amp or the ARC Ref 6SE.
Is there anyone who did a comparison of these. 

I am not really interested in other brands. Thanks.

Thanks gregm. Very interesting.
I use my current pre-amp with Krell Mono 400e, which is a very enjoyable combination.
My goal is to go eventually also with the Progression power amp.
