Cyrus DiscMaster heat up during play

Hi all, does anyone owning a Cyrus DiscMaster transport having the same issue as me. After playing an hour or so the player start to heat up even the cd is hot. Could there be something to worry about or is it normal. Bought it used a few years back and not played this long until recently.
