Crossover Design Question

Hey folks...Can someone compare 2 way speaker using drivers natural rolloff & a single capacitor for protection to the Acoustic Reality Series Crossover touted By Fritz Speakers?What are the comparative advantages & disadvantages of each design?
I believe the natural rolloff speaker has only a single series capacitor on the tweeter & the ARSC has nothing on the tweeter but instead has a resistor & 2 coils on the woofer side...
