Crazy crazy crazy

If we ever get through all this craziness and Axpona kicks back up meet me on the second floor at the bar. I’m buying the first round. Stay safe friends.

I miss the days where all we argued about on Audiogon was whether vinyl was better than digital or that tubes are better than solid state. Best....
We're still in those days, they aren't done yet :-)
@mahgister
I’m in the wait and see what happens camp, where I like to sojourn, while the World goes a bit crazy crazy crazy.

Like yourself, I am a student of history. When significant volumes of persons of a professional nature start asking us to question the narrative, I for one will listen and weigh it up.

Yes, I’d heard about the now removed falsified HCQ paper in LANCET, and I heard about the debates in Australia regarding it’s vilification and false reports (bungled research) as well. The paper regarding Ivermectin causing scarring on a persons heart, which was totally debunked and removed post haste.

I would bet when the Sars Cov 2 virus did the rounds after an under cooked bat was eaten at a fish market in late 2019 (coincidentally within walking distance of a research laboratory specifically researching gain of function on Sars Cov viruses), big pharma didn’t think medications already in use could be used to control it effectively.

I hope audio shows do come back, as this cannot possibly go on indefinitely. And I would hope in the advent that a vaccinated or not vaccinated person does exhibit symptoms of Covid 19, that we are all aware of effective early treatment plans that exist.

Those who implicitly trust CNN, MSN, BBC and many others, yeah Covid 19 may be a side story soon?

Covid might be the least of our worries..
Anyone in here clever enough to explain what happens when the USA cannot pay it's debts?  Do taxes go up?
USA becomes a third World country?

Fortunately Biden is the most popular and most voted for President in American history, hopefully for good reason.
Build Back Better, well he'd better get cracking on that, he's making more work for himself. Man are you guys so lucky he's got a plan, because if it was just bovine excrement to get elected, it's gonna hit the fan pretty quick!

@boothroyd - thanks for sharing your system page, that Technics TT looks minty good mate! Thinking, always the better option.
Or until we wise up.
It may seem like forever, the science is catching up with the propaganda.
If it was a Plandemic, it will take time to unravel indisputable facts.

Keep on auditing :-)

Science over time will prevail, or rather, the truth will. I am not suggesting that it won’t come at a heavy price, there’s certainly a lot at stake here.

CD318 - that's great news, hopefully you clever Brexit community will inspire such forward thinking elsewhere.
God created me free, not almost free....If i am not free it is because by fear i dont want to be free....
We may enter this life as almost a blank slate, but often enough, or most often, our beliefs are the results of our own meaning making machine.

It may not be by fear we are not free though, it may be the ignorance of not knowing what we don't know?

I heard this story which serves as a great example of this phenomenon.
A young married couple are in the kitchen and the wife has just cut the leg of ham into two large pieces, cutting through the bone. The husband asks the wife, why do you cut the ham in half? The wife says that her mother did it, and it tastes better that way. The husband makes no sense of this reply and some years later while his mother in law was there and his wife was baking ham, asks the mother, why does the ham taste better cut in half?
Her reply was that the oven she had back then was too small, and to fit in the whole leg, she'd cut it in half, and it wasn't for taste at all. The grown wife had presumed in her childhood the reason, the meaning of the ham cut in half, and her mother wasn't even aware she had created a superstition about it.

People don't like uncertainty, and so we give meanings to events in our lives, to explain why things have happened. Most often the meanings we have created are based upon a total lack of knowledge of all the facts, and much of these foundations of our beliefs are developed in our childhood. With little to draw upon as children, people make assumptions on the meanings, and often twist how events occurred to conform to these meanings, and then they affirm the meanings, incorrect meaning are the personal superstitions.

Each of us carries our own personal superstitions, fears, limiting thoughts, beliefs for example that we are better or lesser than others. We shouldn't compare our weaknesses against another's strengths or vice a versa.

Special we are not…
We are all special, every single one of us, and because we are all special, we are also not special. Continue to be special, and allow others to be special as well, this will build up self esteem, not condescending others.

Seeing our superstitions for what they are, the creation of our own making (delusions), and breaking free of them takes honesty and courage. It's by the letting go of Ego and embracing truth that we move past our fears, our superstitions.

As for the Bible, what an enlightened contrast can be seen from the old to new teachings. And it would be interesting to discover the original unaltered texts, however as distinct sources have been found, for example texts found at the Qumran Caves, at least these copies show a great deal of the original scripts was most probably kept reasonably intact. I went to the exhibit in Melbourne Museum when they toured the world with some scrolls. I still have the book I bought from the Museum.

The roar of Moses' Triumph was heard throughout the hills.
Joshua's Triumph was heard throughout the land.

Why are many health care workers quitting their positions?

Maybe those people who are in the actual business of healthcare actually know some things first hand that people who read and watch mainstream media don’t?? Just a thought.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GukIoZ8d3Ew
I assure you it isnt the Bilderbergers or George Soros or the woes of the supply chain.

Random, but also relieving to have some clarity, thanks.

Anti-vaxxers have no business being in the medical profession in the first place and good riddance.
Other options perhaps, are pro-natural immunity people who are health care professionals. Who see no responsible reason to get vaccinated with any potential side effects, despite what you have been lead to believe.

Pro-vaccination health care professionals who have seen cases that are being reported not on the media sources you sir are getting, in regards to the Covid vaccines, specifically.

But we do know it’s not George Sorrows, Bilderbergers, or supply chains, thanks to recent revelations.
@lhasaguy - I am not Covid "vaccinated", however as I am reasonably well traveled, and have visited third world countries, it was later in life I had my polio shot, as well as diphtheria, typhoid and pertussis and tetanus and hepatitis A and B if I recall correctly, just to go to Nepal and Thailand. I also took any shots required to enter the US as a permanent resident, that I hadn’t already taken, which I paid for out of pocket. I have traveled no less than 30 countries around the globe, quite a few were not Westernised.

It was because of doctors who questioned, and since the initial questions on both the contents and some emerging reactions that have over time had me weigh up on waiting to see before getting the nontraditional vaccine.
Obviously the definition has changed to include the newer ones, I was always under the impression that a vaccine was intended to invoke an immune response that resulted in a natural immunity?

To call me an anti-vaxxer would be inaccurate. However as I have caution and reservations in the swiftness and lack of empirical data over time on this relatively new injectable technology, I am cautious.

My wife is a dental hygienist, and is in a network with front line workers, we are talking about the highest risk of Covid infection here. These people who are personally involved, have reached out to others and are claiming heavy censorship. Doctors are claiming heavy censorship also, as a student of history it make me cautious and even concerned.

Patterns of human behavior and history do have a readable tell tale signature, and it’s easy to be oblivious to it. There are quite a few of us, that are seeing some red flags here, and have taken the time to write about it, in a thread that was started which directly is related to the Sars Cov 2 virus and it’s impact in current life, including audiophile related conferences etc.

Agoners don’t hold guns to forum members heads to read about vinyl if they’re into digital, or digital if they’re stricktly into vinyl - please feel free to not get involved in this discussion.

+1 mahgister, yes the evidence continues to grow in favor of your assessment, so long as you’re actually taking the time to listen to distinct sources from individuals, and not mass media propaganda.
And you forgot here the impact of simple treatment in prevention and in cure
Honestly, I am aware of the acclaimed 85% of deaths that could have been prevented, starting long before the vaccines even saw the light of day. Using protocols already safe and effective, that were buried and ignored by most media.
I've been following Dr Peter McCullough for some time now, for example.

Are we all still running with the original story that someone foolishly may have eaten an under cooked bat soup in a fish market, down the road from a research facility doing gain of function research on bat respiratory diseases?
It's the bat soup story, right?

Cap Audiofest - thanks, that's great news.
Of the many states of the US I've visited, Maryland (Cumberland) was very pretty in Autumn.

Good to hear the state (according to the website for CAP) as of July 1st is open.
@mahgister - In a news document I just read, As Adverse Reactions to Covid ‘Vaccines’ Reach 400,000, the Truth Must Be Spread Widely.

One comment that I read,
321 million vaccinated in the US, 6985 deaths from vaccine reactions. We are now losing 2000 a day from Covid19.
Anyone really struggling with which is best?

I must admit if these statistics are even remotely accurate, or even close to the whole story, the comment in favor of vaccines despite deaths caused by them is an interesting gamble.

Of course, natural immunity changes drastically such a gamble, especially if natural immunity is indeed significantly superior to mRNA Vaccines.
I’m still not eager to take the jab.
@femoore12 - exactly! And I heard it on CNN, it must be true also.

There’s a lot of people, and I do mean a lot, who are claiming injury and who are (not confirmed to me, self proclaimed professionals) who are putting their credibility on the line expressing concerns.

I rather consider that I would be a fool not to at least entertain the notion that some due diligence is in order here. When I make a reasonably high dollar purchase these days, I will ask about, and I will read reviews and I do absolutely look at the negative reports as well. There is nothing I have ever purchased that I put in higher esteem than my health.

The very first person I saw publicly share concerns on television regarding Covid vaccines, was during the Presidential debate. Please feel free to quote me on that anytime :-)
@mnmark
Thank you for your remarks, as I try to discern what is going on here, that directly affects my family’s and my personal health.

Do you know of Dr. Robert Malone, (self proclaimed) the inventor of the mRNA and DNA vaccine core platform technology? Back in 1987 I believe.
Is Dr Robert Malone the actual inventor of the technology?
https://thehighwire.com/videos/mrna-vaccine-inventor-calls-for-stop-of-covid-vax/

Specifically, I am asking if this guy who’s genuinely expressing concerns about the technology he claims he’s invented for use as a Covid vaccine, is he who he says he is?

I will read more about him, I just want to ascertain if he’s a good source of science?

This terminology ADE seems to keep coming up in discussions and concerns about the Covid vaccines, amongst other concerns. Dr. Malone did quote "fortune favors the prepared mind - Louis Pasteur".

There are other sources of doctors with 20+ years experience (again self proclaimed) who discuss in great length breaking the issues down in layman's terms, their concerns.
I do want to hear both camps, 100% for and those expressing concerns.
If all things were equal with one exception—the disease was ebola. Would you take the vaccine then?
@mahgister - if you knew that safe and effective treatments for Ebola exists, and existed before a new Ebola vaccine was introduced.

Would you be more inclined to take the known safe medications (that have been used many millions of times over decades and succeeded with a high level of safety in the world of performance, proven even safe for pregnancy) over a relatively new technology that has reports of being unsafe from many personal, and professional sources?

I think I leaned more in a a Kenjit post.
@emailists - despite the many things he's said that I disagree with, Kenjit actually had a lot of understanding on loudspeaker structure and design.
Congratulations on learning here in the forum, good for you.
@yuviarora - getting what for your tweeters from Duelund?
Specific with values you need?

I have a mixture of Duelund and other capacitors, I really like the silver foil bypass caps in conjunction with other high end. The Cast VSF copper in my speakers on my system page are shown.

I’d like to upgrade my amplifier also, but I cannot get a circuit diagram for it, unfortunately.

Hopefully I can get it all done, that is before the zombies take over :)
Well, perhaps the zombies are already running the show?
millercarbon was recently corrected (by a doctor in this thread?) in regards to mRNA not entering the nucleus of the human cells affecting the human genome.

I am watching a video by a research doctor who’s explaining that mRNA goes through a process called Retro Integration, whereby the mRNA is coverted into DNA (reverse transcriptor) which then the genome coalesse with each other. According to this video, millcarbon was correct though perhaps not directly, the mRNA does in fact combine with the nucleus, after retro integration through reverse transcription. As far as I understand it.

If you are able to refute this information, I’d love to hear it.
Fascinating stuff.

@yuviarora - that’s not very nice. According to most in here, were that truly the case, they would simply be victims of fraud.

Fraud, to me, is the most common accusation made by anti-mRNA vaxxers.
Anti-vaxxers is an entirely inaccurate label for those not sold on the mRNA Covid vaccines. And assuming anyone taking any vaccine, are making an effort to be responsible, which seems to be the claim by those who are pro mRNA Covid vaccines. Most people now believe it is their personal and public duty to become completely vaccinated, that is the reported truth.

Of course, there are many times in history where reported or popular truths have fallen by the way side. I grew up in a time where lead was added to paints and fuels, asbestos was commonly used.

We can presume that those who have and are warning us against current Covid vaccines are trying to help us, for our best interest. We can also assume those who do not share those concerns, also, trust their sources and are urging us to see sense and reason to get the shot.

Despite attitudes, accusations and potential bitterness - they are not the enemy. Lies are the enemy, truth is our ally.
Marxism fails because of mankind's propensity towards human behavior.
Largely, a lack of integrity as they reach a point where there is no accountability.

As a foreigner, I find the great experiment currently being run in the United States of America a fascinating set of constitutions set against mankind's capacity for selfishness and control over others.

If enough people decide to corrupt and ignore the foundation, like all other empires and civilizations, a lack of integrity to principles that are universal, will cause it's collapse.
@sns - yeah the cast copper VSF are pretty big, and I have a pair inside my ML2, as shown in photos before glue up. You may be able to see the silver foil bypass caps soldered in photo 3.
@tsushima1 - censor this discussion?
I don't have the time to read every post, but as far as I know, the material and opinions on the virus and disease responsible for the closure of many of the audiophile shows are being contained and discussed primarily in here.

It's at least on topic. Please feel free to not get involved in this thread you disapprove of.

@yuviarora - I am sorry this situation has lost you your job. And millercarbon, and those who've lost friends and family, which are many of us.

Rick, by what grace do you find yourself here..in this great experiment?

@tomic601 - my economic privilege and nationality allowed me to freely travel around many countries of this world, Australasia, Europe, North Americas, and islands of the Pacific. I guess it was a birthright granted me by the predominant race who also took over the US, relieving the natives of the land. I guess the grace of God and the fierceness of my progenitors.

As many of my fellow countrymen do, I will most probably retire in or nearer my land of birth. Having traveled, I am well aware of options to live abroad, which I am doing now.

In which country do you reside? And by what grace are you there also?
@cd318 - My wife insists I use CloSYS un-flavored ultra sensative rinse *(for at least 30 seconds) held in the mouth after brushing and flossing each night. I’m sure there’s others that will work, this is the one she’s been directed to.

She told me it’s a good anti-covid practice, and that Xylitol can be used in Covid 19 prevention.

@sns - Canadian rock group formed in 1973 ?
You sir, are an interesting character.
Then I suggest that you are selectively disregarding the several diversive posts that are entirely not connected to the affect on Audiophile shows due to the current pandemic.
Yes, like this one ^.
@yuviarora - https://www.partsconnexion.com/DUELUND-88275.html
Like that?
Oh, and I’m not telling you that your Supreme Court info is wrong, it’s not a nice thing to be bringing up, is all.

Trust the science.....NO I say, verify the science. Even if you don’t have a degree, if you get injured, you are on your own. And by the looks of it, that is the least of our problems.
There are dozens maybe hundreds now? That are in a group to have their voices heard, who claim their lives are damaged from terrible reactions to the Covid vaccines. They claim to have tried to get medical help, and have been left with little or no helpful answers.
My wife who is a dental hygienist is connected through social networks to many healthcare professionals. I’ve learned that oral health has a great deal to do with overall health and Covid 19 as well, through her.

This item is temporarily out of stock, please inquire for lead time by sending us your wishlist.
Sorry. Are you after a particular capacitor? Cast VSF CU, or VSF Cu, I can ask around, if I knew what you're looking for.
