Counterpoint SA3.1 Power Supply question...what size fuse?

Picked up a used SA3.1 with the fuse door/fuse missing on the power supply unit. I’ve ordered the replacement Littlefuse cap but what size fuse is recommended for the 3.1 PSU?

mofimadness Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 5,316 posts 03-31-2025 at 05:30pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete Looking from the front of the unit, on the top back right corner it says: FUSE 2A AGC ONLY There is not fuse inside at that location, so it's for the power supply unit. I was a Counterpoint dealer and pretty sure that's correct.

Preamp was blowing the 2A fast blow fuse. Found this schematic wiring diagram for the Counterpoint SA3.1 preamp on the Net. Counterpoint SA3.1 .
