couldn't stand the weather

I have a carver M1.0t just sitting around so i am planning to put it out in my garage, replacing a HK receiver. I am thinking of using a Vincent hybrid pre-amp.  I live in NJ so temperatures range from the 20's to the 90's. is it a bad idea to use a component with tubes under harsh conditions as these.  thanx  Matt

Great album,  Stevie Ray Vaughan at his best on the Tin Pan Alley track.

Cheers George
Keep it dry and covered all the time unless you're using it. Warm it up on cool days, fine for the rest of the day. 35-40 kinda a lower limit, with older valve amps. SS they can get pretty cool. 20 degrees is cool.

I'd think 5 under a small heating pad, or a 1-2 min hair blower take the frost off. Someone will chime in and, say.. "I was on the Island of ICE COLD" and it was 50 below. No problem plug it in and let er rip... LOL Be careful... That stuff worked in Korea, freezing cold...Flip the switch and the PA work, at 10 below..

what’s the temperature range INSIDE the garage?

humidity an issue?

I cannot leave my attached garage's outside door open on humid days because I might get condensation dripping from ducts onto shelves of tapes or lps.
