Converting an Esoteric player to 230v and 50Hz
I am seriously considering to buy an Esoteric K-05x Player or the N-05 Network Player but and this is a great but, in one year I will move to another country with the mains AC being 230V / 50Hz, and then again and again.
Reading the specs, Esoteric is very clear with three different types of power supply: 230V / 50Hz for European model, 120V / 60Hz for USA/Canada model and 220V/60Hz for South Korea model in all its products.
There is an old thread “Converting an Esoteric player to 220v” where it is said that changing the voltage is very easy but and here is my question:
Is it necessary and possible to change the frequency?
