Connect Sub to McIntosh MA7000
What's the best way to do this? Use the balanced outputs, or remove the jumper and put it between the preamp and amp?
It seems to me that the latter would be better since the lower frequencies would be offloaded by the sub and therefore wouldn't be sent to the main speakers.
Or is it a bad idea to allow the sub to do this? I imagine that the quality of the sub probably matters too. Any opinions?
