component where PC does not make a difference

Has anyone ever had a component whose sound did not change significantly (or at all) with changes in power cords? I have found that different power cords don't really affect the sound of my amp (ARC VS60), but differences among those same power cords are revealed when hooking them to my DAC (ARC DAC7). Is that representative of tube amps in general or perhaps just this component? Would you expect that the differing "sonic traits" of various power cords would be better revealed on a DAC than a (tube) amp?

That is interesting. My VS60 is very sensitive to the power cable. Currently using Shunyata. Sounds way better than the stock cable. I am considering upgrading to Oyaide as I really like them.
Has anyone tried upgrading the PC on their Subwoofer. Wondering what the results were...Im running an SVS PC 13 Ultra right now...I use Black Sands Violet II PC's in the rest of my system...
I have never experienced a zero improvement factor upon introducing a quality aftermarket PC..I suppose the least rewarding improvement was on my pre-amp that has it's own dedicated Power Supply...But even in this case their was still a worthwhile overall benefit.
