I've rolled lots of tubes in my SLI-80 this past year. Love RCA 6L6GC blackplates (I bias around 60-65), Tung Sol smooth blackplates (75) and GL & JJ KT77's (65). Responses from Cary have been 75 milliamp per side regardless of tubes, but from others and my experience, these bias settings worked for me. Shoot me a pm for more detail if you would like.
Less expensive reissues I really liked also included the Tung Sol 6L6G big bottles.
