Comparison between Gallos Micros Ti and Adiva or Adiva SE for heights speakers
Hi
I hope to get some advise on height ( Atmos speakers ) am planning to get to mount on my ceiling.
I am contemplating Gallos Micros Ti or later models such as Adiva or Adiva SE as my height front and rear speakers. The Gallos look aesthitically pleasing are small enough to be mounted on the ceiling and based on some reviews, sound good at least for Atmos.
I am wondering if I should go with the smaller Micros Ti or the slightly larger Adivas or the latest Adiva SE for my height speakers. Are there any discernable differences between these models for the use of atmos? The Adiva costs $100 and Adiva SE $150 more than the Micros TI for each speaker. So for 4 speakers its between $400 to $600 more. The Adiva and Micros TI are 8 ohms and Adiva SE 4 ohm speakers.
I am using an Onkyo RZ 830 AVR to power my heights. My mains are Living Voice Auditorium and my centre speakers is Klipsch 600c and surrounds are Klipsch 402S dipole. I have front heights as old Jamo small bookshelf speakers which I intend to replace with the Gallos. I have separate power amps to power my mains and surrounds with preouts from my Onkyo AVR.
Will be appreciative if I could get your views, especially those with experience using the Gallos or know about them. Thanks much.
Regards
Ram
