compare Ayre CX-7e to Benchmark DAC1

I just purchased an Ayre AX7e and love it. This is of course causing me to consider purchasing a balanced DAC. I have a Monarchy DAC24 currently and really have no complaints about it's sound. It only has single ended outputs though, I am just wondering if using a balanced unit will give me that extra magic something.

I'd actually prefer to have a DAC as I use a variety of transport devices (including a six CD player!) but would likely go with the Ayre if it is better sonically.

So, anybody - have you listened to both? comparisons?
