Guidocorona, LOL! However, it is well known that Mr. Barris is in possesion of the Gong of Teng-Boche, thought to be one of the Stargate Temporal Displacement Portals made famous in film and television. While I would agree with you re: Barris' documented audiophobia, his choice of gongage leads one to believe that he may be one of the enlightened ones.
Hmmm, methinks thou dost protest too much. I remember when this "memoir" you refer to was published. I remember hearing about the shocking revelations revealed that may or may not have ocurred. I would ask you then: If the enlightened Mr. Barris has no credibility, how is it that you have managed to obtain so many details on his life and career? Could it be that you yourself were a sanctioner for this nameless intelligence agency? Or, is it that you are one of the remaining embittered sanctionees? Reveal yourself, sir!! If you dare...
Shall it be Cheddars at sunrise then? We can use the Clever Little Clock to synchronize sunrise at our respective locations.
Albert,
You want some fun? How about trying the CLC "Clever Little Carp" You mount it on the wall and everytime you walk by it sings Patricia Barber songs - thereby recalibrating your ears prior to a listening session. I would suggest you introduce to your listening group prior to your normal Tuesday night sessions.
