"A movie that comes to mind is "Contact". Very thought provoking."

Science cannot explain time itself, the deeper they dig the closer they are coming to the fact that time is an illusion created by the brain. For instance, consider this; movement IS time/time IS movement, they are one and the same, one cannot exist without the other. There is 'NOW','NOW' stands on it's own, 'NOW' does not have a past or a future, it not a movement from one place to another, i.e. 'NOW' did not come from someplace nor is 'NOW' going someplace. 'NOW' is timeless and you are living 'NOW'.
If there is anyone really serious in going beyond theory, then investigate into 'the duality of thinker and thought' and one may come to the realization that the observer is
the observed but there must be feedom from the known.

Google "the thinker is the thought"
Wellfed...how do you go about making type smaller like you did in you last post?

I wonder if the cat in Schrodinger's box had a clever little clock so he could estimate how long before he went to the place with milk rivers and slow mice?"

I see a stapler in front of me and you do not, now I see the stapler because of three things, stapler/source, light/medium, and a detector/brain. Without all three, the stapler is not a fact. If I leave the room, the stapler is no longer a fact,; I may have memory of the stapler, but that memory of the stapler is not the stapler; the stapler is no longer a fact to the brain, it is just a memory of the fact of the stapler. It would be the same if became dark, the stapler is no longer a fact. And if stapler is no longer there, the stapler is no longer a fact. I don't think that this is philosophical.

It is the known that is the blindfold which is thought born of memory. I is the past that is the blindfold.

Now if someone says that the observer is the observer; that would be philosophical untel it is seen as a fact, than it is no longer philosophical.

But it is the known that is the blindfold which is thought born of memory. I is the past that is the blindfold.
I have posted two or three times on the subject of time, but they have not appeared on this thread. Why?
It was posted somewhere where someone said that a clock tells us the time and i was suggesting that it really does not.

A clock is a instrument that is designed to synchronize with a another movement, and movement in itself is not moving from the past to the future. Movement is happening 'NOW', everlasting 'NOW', and 'NOW' does not a have a past or a future.

But the brain in it's movement, (movement of thought) is moving from the past to the future. It is just that the brain creates the illusion of time because of memory. The brains memory is always of the past, and are thinking is born of the past and can project a future and the past and the future does not exist. The only thing that exist is 'NOW' which is timeless.

There is much more we can go into, but i am stopping here for now because some of my post disappear and i am a very slow typer and don't want to waste my time typing if they disappear. I'll see what happens with one.
