Clearaudio Smart Synchro

Has anyone had any experience with the Clearaudio Smart Synchro?  I recently installed one on my Emotion CMB table.  The Synchro definitely improved the sound quality.  Vocals are cleaner and percussion hits are harder.  Overall the sound is more solid.  But my unit runs very hot to the touch, particularly when playing at 45 rpm.  Has anyone else had this issue?
