Clearaudio cartridge for a 47 kohm input
I have a clearaudio balanced reference phonostage run direct to the amps and a vpi superscoutmaster turntable/10.5i arm etc. I was interested in trying out a clearaudio cartridge but would rather not move off the 47 kohm default input setting on my phono. I have a Cardas Myrtle Heart now with the soundsmith ruby cantilever rebuild. I have really liked it but would like more (dah). Any ideas? The Cardas was 3500 retail or basically a Ruby 3. Any suggestions for one other than 47?
I could change it. But would like a starting point. Are clearaudio cartridges generally brighter and thinner as the reviews seem to say about the turntables?
