Clearaudio aurum and Rega 250 tonearm

I am considering replacing my Rega Bias2 with the entry level Clearaudio Aurum classic -wood on a Rega RB250 tonearm. I have read about mounting problems. What sonic differences may I expect, and how would it compare to a Rega Elys? Thanks in advance.
