I agree with what you said, but I will add this, none of this is being done behind closed doors or in smoked filled back rooms, it's being done right in our faces, and we like little easily manipulated sheep just go along. That revolution that we fought for at such a great price was stolen long ago. We didn't notice or care because we were living better than the rest of the world.

I didn't say they started the war, I said they were responsible for it. The French pushed for and got the harsh pentalies against Germany in the treaty of Versailles. President Wilson's 14 points were much more even handed. They mocked Wilson, saying the good Lord only had 10 points. The French Military saw the danger and was against the terms. Why do you think the greaat depression hit Germany harder than any other country. No Versailles, no Hitler, no Hitler, no war. The Japanese were always good at adapting to new technology and improving upon it. After Admiral Perry visited in 1854 to what was a closed society, 50 years later, they were sinking the Russian fleet in the russo-japanese war. The WHO statistics do not factor in the life styles of the patients. Maybe the rest of the world does not eat three meals a day at McDonalds. Maybe the rest of the world do not look like hippos. I think prevention and early detection is the difference. We may have the best medicine, but not the most intelligent / educated patients.

I think the answer would be a government plan that only covers catastrophic care. No one seems to mention that. You get cancer or demetia, the government plan kicks in. You break your leg playing ball, that's your problem. Children runny noses, your problem etc..... that would lower the cost. If you make it totally free, it will be abused as it is and has been the world over.
