If you don't have the manual, which I do, I would gladly fax or send you the page that discusses the use of resistors. Out side of that I would contact Classe', I'm sure thay would be very helpful with specific recommendations.
classe 'five' mc loading
Hello all,
I hope there are some knowledgeable people out there that can help me with setting up my MC loading on my Classe �FIVE�.
First of all, I�m using a Dynavector 17D2 MKII with a stated output of 0.23mV and recommended 100 ohm loading.
I�ve successfully set the proper gain level to attain 0db @ 0.23mV, but I cannot find any information about loading. There are solder pads for a resistor on the board labeled �opt. MC loading�, but no information in my owners manual and a call to the Classe tech. didn�t garner any useful information either.
I don�t want to start arbitrarily plugging in resistors without proper information, or at the very least, a schematic to go by.
Anyone willing to pass along there experience setting up Classe MC loading would be greatly appreciated.
