Cincinnati, OH, any audiophiles?

Any Cincinnati, OH -based audiophiles on this forum? I have found only one truly high end dealer here, and they are leaning more and more towards high end home theater so they tend to be quite busye, and no longer set up truly "reference" systems one can listen to for calibration. Would love to get into touch with other fellow maniacs in the area Hard to know what else you "need" unless you can hear it and covet it in someone else's set up!

Hi Alexc, my name is Tom and I am one of those hard to find Cincinnati audiophiles. Nice to hear that someone else in Cincinnati is into the Hi-End. If you want to get in touch with me on line to chat, you can reach me at audiostud@dellnet.com If you want a good Hi Fi dealer, make the trip to Columbus to Progressive Audio. That is where I get my goodies. They are great to deal with.
Hi Guys,

This is Tom Albrecht in beautiful Loveland.I have been thinking of hosting an Audiophile Gathering around the middle of September, but I wanted to see if there is any interest before I start putting it together. Don't need any firm commitments, just let me know you you have any interest.

Thanks,

Tom
Hello Everyone,

This is Tom Albrecht. It has been a while since our last Audio Gathering, so I
thought I would see if there was any interest in having one at my house. I was
thinking about Sunday June 28th. Let me know if you have any interest in coming.
I figured that many people would be away on vacation in July and August. If the
end of June is not a good time I will wait until Sept.

I have a couple of new toys to show off. I will leave that to be a surprise.

Please respond by June 20th. if you can make it.

Tom
Hi Marc,

Thanks for hosting the latest meeting of Audio Gentlemen (and scoundrels) at your home. I always enjoy seeing all the familiar faces and meeting new people. I enjoyed hearing your system Marc. You have a great selection of music too.
HI Guys,

I wanted to let everyone know that I am planning on hosting an audio gathering on Sunday Sept. 19th at noon. I sent an e-mail out to everyone who's e-mail I have. If you did not get one, send me your e-mail address so I can file it.

Please try to let me know if you plan on attending by Sat. Sept. 11th.

I hope to see all of you.

Hi Guy's,

If anyone is interested in hearing some great local jazz check out a group called Slice. They play at Parker's Grill at the corner of Reed Hartman highway and Cooper Rd. in Blue Ash about once a month. They will be there Friday and Saturday Jan. 21 and 22. I think they play from about 6:30-10:30 on Friday and 7:00-11:00 on Saturday. The group consists of keyboards, tenor sax, drums, and guitar. Most of the music is straight jazz. They mix in a little James Taylor type music with a jazz flair. My wife and I try to catch them every month. It is a good time and the food at Parker's is very good.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Tom
