It would help if you would list the speakers that you have available (and their specs), the size of the room and the other components that you wish to use. For example are you looking for an integrated amp or do you want to try the SET with an already existing preamp? I am all for SET's, but if they are not properly matched to a system (and the room) even a very good unit can be very disappointing.
Cheap SET amp......
I want any recommendations on a cheaper $1000-2000 SET tube amp. I like the sound of SET's, but not enough to spend a bundle. I will use it as a second amp. I remember reading in Stereophile about a $900 SET , made in China, which they rated as Class A sound. Sunfire? Comments please......
