channel imbalance in arc ls5

both channels work & sound fine but the right channel is dramatically higher in level. i've changed tubes, retested & matched the tubes to no avail. are there any options other than shipping it back to arc or trying to find a local "A-V repair shop" to adjust? are there any user adjustments that the nontechnical might attempt to rebalance the channel levels?
thanks,
jon

thanks for the ideas. just completed an orgy of cable & jack swaps to no avail. the right channel is hotter than the left. the ls5 is the source of the imbalance & i can't compensate by using separate sides of the 2 main outs. i didn't notice the imbalance until i changed to 7308s but when i tested the sovteks i recieved with the preamp, 1 of them tested as shorted on my b&k tube tester & i've been afraid to reinstall them & unwilling to revert to that sound. i'll call "calf rope" & try arc tomorrow.
