i have burned over 200 CDs, and have never heard the original sound any different from source CD, DAT or WAV. I use a memorex PC IDE drive and burn at 1 or 2x
CDRs sound better than original!!!
I have been comparing the sound of CDRs recorded with a Tascam CDRW 5000 and the original. The results are that the CDR always sounds better, sometimes it's a huge diffrence. I have not heard this mentioned before. I did the comparison originally expecting to be highly dissapointed with the copy. I bet if some of you serious audiophiles heard this you would be recording your library on CDR. Has anyone had any similar experiences with CDR?
