I have to agree with Weiserb, the CD7 with the power supply upgrade brings it pretty close to the CD8. And it is a real bargain used. I have not heard the SimAudio SuperNova so I can't compare the two. But I did listen to a number of players before I bought my CD7. Nothing came close to it in my system. The other player I did not get a chance to hear and that I am curious about is the PS Audio.
