Cayin A50-t and tube rolling

Hi,
Just picked up a Cayin A50-t. Its coming with JJ E34Ls and stock preamp tubes. I heard in one thread that this power tube causes ARCHING in this amp. Is this true? Anybody roll a lot of tubes through this amp and have favorites?
