I would opt for the CB I if you think you may want to upgrade the internal components to the current CB III. Otherwise, I would go with the Nova. The operating system in the earlier CBs leaves a lot to be desired. I owned a CasaNova prior to buying my CB II and thought it sounded great. I hope this helps.
