Cary 300sei vs Sophia 300b integrated

Has anyone heard these 2 integrateds? In regards to the Cary has anyone heard the direct coupled vs the standard version?

It had wonderful mids but was lacking at the bottom--(within my system,at that time) Cary has more/better resale. It will take the right speakers for either. Buy the highest version U can afford. In most things SET, the bigger the transformers,the better.i.e.--Don't buy those 5 pounders.
