I have the amp with a factory installed step attenuator. I don't miss the remote one bit, and love the perfect little click-steps. But I'm old school! I adjust the volume for the CD or LP and sit back and listen!

Has anyone done anything to modify the volume pot on this amp?
Would a stepped attenuator make a sonic difference?
I don't mind giving up on the remote volume.
Some designers feel the remote volume is sonically degrading.
I am interested(apart from tube rolling)in anything anyone has done to improve the sound of the 3oosei.
I do not want to buy anything else, so thanks in advance to those who would have me take that option.
